Antique 19th century charming "Gathering Storm" oil painting in the manner of the nineteenth century French artist Jean Francois Millet depicting a mother and child hurrying off to their farm home in the face of an approaching storm. Measures 30 inches wide and 20 inches high. Very good condition with two small 1/2 inch tears, a spot perforation and in need of a good cleaning and minor touch-up. |
